Game Day Volunteers
Our game day volunteers are the heartbeat of every home game.
Across our 20-game home season, this close-knit and passionate team helps deliver the professional, family-friendly experience our fans have come to expect. Some volunteers attend every home game, while others simply help when their schedule allows. Every contribution makes a difference.

No previous experience is required. We’ll provide training, support and a welcoming team environment.

Off-Season Volunteer Network
Not every volunteer role happens at the ballpark.
Throughout the year, we’re building a network of people who can contribute their professional skills to help the Sydney Blue Sox continue to grow both on and off the field.

Become a Host Family
Every season, the Sydney Blue Sox welcome players from across Australia and around the world to represent our club.
Host families provide more than just accommodation, they provide a home away from home.
Many lifelong friendships have been built through our host family program, with families enjoying a unique opportunity to connect with elite athletes, experience different cultures, and play an important role in helping players perform at their best throughout the Australian Baseball League season.
Our team works closely with host families to ensure expectations are clear and support is available throughout the season.
